The viewer panel and international expert jury

Working together with its long-standing partners at Digame, SRG recruited a new panel of 100 viewers in the spring. These viewers will help to decide who will represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, and which song they will perform. The viewer panel will be complemented by a committee of 20 international specialist judges, all of whom have proven their expertise as members of judging panels in their home countries.

The selection process

The 100-person viewer panel and the twenty specialist judges will assess the entries and artists as part of a multi-stage selection process, before going on to make their final decision as to which song and artist(s) will represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest. As with the international Eurovision shows, each of the two panels will account for 50 per cent of the overall vote.

Announcing the winner

The winning song and artist(s) will be announced by SRF, RTS, RSI and RTR early in 2022.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2022 project is a co-production by SRF, RTS, RSI and RTR.
